  1. Hi, I am considering OpenVZ instead of KVM for better performance but I was wondering if the resource isolation is good enough to prevent one VPS from overloading (and possibly crashing) the entire physical node. I don't mean for a flood to saturate the physical NIC. I was considering things like internal system resources overload (CPU, RAM, I/O etc). Thanks!

    Create Template

Sorry, couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I have openvz. I am taking a fully installed Debian 9 or Ubuntu 16.04 container and creating a template. I do everything required to add it to the template list I install on a new machine, and the machine just doesn't start. What am I missing here, something stupid? Happens every time. Thanks
  3. Before I go bald, I would like some advice on why IPv6 in containers suddenly stopped working when restarting and creating new CTs. - I can ping a CT assigned IPv6 (from the outside and on HN), but I cant ping/connect out (but can ping HN); - restarting or creating a CT results in the above scenario; - HN ip6tables is essentially blank, and ip6tables in CT is set to allow; - current running CTs are fine. Anyone help?
  4. Dear Sirs, please assist since that i am new in Solus. I have deleted VM from Solus GUI, but I do have a valid backup. When tried to restore, I did the following: - copied backup to root of slave server (machine was there, not in Master) - did restore with. /usr/sbin/vzdump -restore /231-vz-266-1.tgz 265 - restored succesfully - started OpenVZ container from console with vzctl start 265, started successfully But, there is no new VM in Solus (neither in master, neither in slaves (I have 2 slaves). What I did wrong, please advise
